Long time ago, in the land of Ivalice, a war seethed and erupted.
The war lasted for 50 years, it was ended when both sides laid down
their arms. However, the war had exhausted the people's strength,
and the situation in Ivalice became worse.
Only a year after the 50-year war, Ivalice's Princess Ovelia was kidnapped.
These led to the conflict between the two families; Gallione -The
White Lion- ruled by Prince Larg, and Zeltennia -The Black Lion- ruled
by Prince Goltana. The war between them would later be known as "The
Lion War".
According to the historic record, a young knight named Delita ended
the Lion War soon after it engulfed Ivalice. But, there was another
young man named Ramza who played an important role during the Lion
War. But, you will never find his name in any of the history books.
